Projects by County

The current National Development Plan involves an investment of €184 billion over the coming seven years with the overriding objective of building a better quality of life for all. The Plan is funding or providing financial assistance to thousands of projects throughout the country.

This section of the website is designed to provide information on projects approved for funding under the NDP on a county by county basis. The Plan is supporting further advances in our education and training systems, housing, childcare, public transport and roads, job creation, environmental protection, rural development and a wide range of social and infrastructural projects.

In some cases the relevant activity/project is not confined to a single county i.e. Iarnród Éireann’s new Inter-City Trains provides for an investment in a number of counties. An activity like this one therefore cannot be attributed to any particular county, and has been allocated to the most appropriate county/counties.
